What is included in the weekly meal plans?

Each week you will receive a simple grocery list, instructions on how to prep your meals for the week and 7 delicious recipes. The recipes include 4 main meals, 1 side salad, 1 healthy snack and 1 wholesome breakfast. The reason we don’t include 7 main meals is because we understand people have busy lives, like to eat out occasionally and cook some of their own favourite recipes.

How many people do the meal plans serve?

The meal plans serve 2 people, the grocery list can easily be doubled to serve 4 people. If you are cooking for one, then you can use the leftovers for lunch or cut the quantities in half.

How big are the portions?

The portion sizes are generous and packed full of vegetables. Leftovers can be used for lunch or frozen for the future.

Are the recipes new each week?

YES! Each week we change up the recipes. This means you get to try lots of new and exciting recipes and that you will never get bored of what you’re eating. We also include your favourite recipes on a regular basis. The vegetarian meal plans are also seasonal. We like to take advantage of what’s in season when creating our meal plans.

Do you offer vegan or gluten-free meal plans?

At the moment we only offer vegetarian meal plans. However, dairy and gluten is always optional in our recipes. We provide substitution ideas that make vegan and gluten free simple. The plans can easily be adapted to suit most dietary needs and we are always here to help you do that.

What if I am not vegetarian?

The plans can still work for you if you are not vegetarian. A lot of our customers aren’t but like to eat vegetarian food for half the week. It is also easy to add meat or fish to any of our meals. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to help you with that as I have no clue about meat nor fish.

Only half my family is vegetarian, will Plan V work for me?

YES! My partner eats meat and he loves Plan V. If your family is anything like mine they won’t even miss the meat. However, our recipes work great with the addition of fish or meat.

I am very busy, will the meal plans work for me?

The plans are for you! Our main goal is to help you save time whilst staying healthy and excited about what you’re eating. The prep, which is done once a week normally, takes about 2 to 3 hours. The meals take around 30 minutes to cook. As the prep is done beforehand it’s easier to enjoy quick and delicious meals, even if you are super busy. You will have to start thinking about what to do with all that spare time.

We are picky eaters will the Plan V work for us?

If you are a picky eater, Plan V might not be the best option for you. We use a variety of ingredients and recipes from all different types of cuisines. Plan V is best for people that are willing to try new flavours and ingredients. You can give us a try though by signing up to our mailing list.

Is it easy to skip a meal if I am busy or don't like it?

It’s really simple to skip a meal. Each meal is numbered on our menu, making it easy to cross-off the grocery items and instructions.

When will I receive my meal plan?

You will receive access to your meal plan as soon as you sign up when you log into our members only area. A month worth of meal plans are available at any time when you login. We also email our customers every Thursday with tips and swap ideas for that weeks menu.

Do the meal plans include nutritional information?

Yes, the nutritional information is included for each recipe in the weekly meal plans. Please note that this information is produced using myfitnesspal.com online calculator and should be considered as an estimate.

How much will I spend on shopping each week?

This will depend on where you shop and the additional things you buy. However, by only buying what you need leads to less waste and saving money. Plus you might save money by not eating out and getting takeaway.

Will I have access to past month's meal plans?

Yearly subscribers have access to all our previous meal plans and recipes. Monthly subscribers have access to the current month only. You can easily upgrade your subscription by going to your Account > payment settings.

Do you deliver the ingredients for the meal plans?

No, we don’t deliver ingredients at the moment. We are working on partnering with some grocery delivery services.

How does the subscription work?

We have two types of subscriptions, monthly and yearly. The yearly plan gives you access to previous meal plans and recipes. It also works out cheaper than paying monthly. Check out our different plans here.

What is your refund policy?

If you are within the first 30 days and wish to be refunded, contact customersupport@theplanv.com. We do not offer refunds on plans purchased with discounted rates and trail periods will count as part of the 30 days. You can find more information in our terms and conditions.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription by going to your Account > subscription. You will continue to have access to the site for the remainder of your subscription period.
